How to successfully communicate on your properties?

Romain Cartier is a real estate expert featured on the "Recherche Appartement ou Maison" show broadcast on French TV channel M6. Every week, he gives his advice to the VITRINEMEDIA community on how to perfect its role as real estate agents and optimize its sales.

There are different ways to communicate about your properties for sale in an effective way! To do this, according to Romain Cartier, you will need to use different tools to highlight your mandates and make them visible to as many people as possible to multiply your chances of selling promptly.

website and computer

Your website

It is your agency's storefront and a reflection of your expertise. A refined and neat website will make people want to spend more time on it as part of their real estate research. Highlight your properties for sale by logically organizing your site, focusing on the quality of visual content and by taking care of each listing's descriptive texts.

Even better, communicate on your team members and the people in charge of each transaction. Potential customers will feel like this is a familiar environment and working with professionals on whom they have prior information will make them feel like they are in a trustworthy environment.

Real estate portals

Real estate portals for professionals in the sector are an excellent source of visibility, especially in terms of search engine optimization. Do not hesitate to duplicate the listings published on your site on these platforms, this will enable you to make your agency known to a greater number of people and reach potential customers who were not part of your initial target.

Quality pictures

The quality of the content you promote will be decisive when selling a property and this mostly involves photography! Whether it is for announcements published on your website or to illustrate the mandates you post in your illuminated storefront, high-quality pictures, taken at a wide-angle or by a professional will be a genuine asset! Beautiful photos will help you attract the attention of potential buyers who will then want to look at your properties and will also promote your seriousness and professionalism through the image you convey.

Video

Communication becomes dynamic and visual! Rely on video to make a difference and innovatively present your properties. Think about the LCD screens to be placed in your storefront to stand out from the competition and catch the attention of passers-by even outside of your branch's opening hours. In terms of content, there's plenty of choice: video from the interior of the property for sale or rent, a visit of the neighborhood, a presentation of your team members. This content, even more attractive than static display, will enable you to give even more information to interested potential customers, and will encourage them to cross your agency's threshold.

Social networks

A digital tool not to be overlooked! Thanks to social networks, you will be able to reach a new audience that goes far beyond your community. Your presence on different platforms, mainly Facebook and LinkedIn, will allow you to communicate about your properties for sale with quality visual content. What is more, you will be able to interact almost instantly with Internet users interested in getting more information. They will then be more likely to come to you when searching for a property.

Local communication

Last but not least, remember that you are the first step in your communication. Talk to people around you, with your professional network and with your family and friends about your properties for sale and let word of mouth run its course! Your best publicity will come from the people around you who will naturally tell their acquaintances about you, and they will do the same in turn, and so on.  In other words, do not forget that the foundation of communication is above all... to communicate!
